Welcome to the new 14th Galway Scout Group Website! This website has been developed by Paddy Hennelly, and was undertaken as my woodbadge project, the final step in my leadership training. The main focus of this site is to add another level of communication between the 14th Galway Scout Group and the general public as we begin developing our group again after our recent move to Shantalla on the west side of Galway city. After 30 years of operation in the inner city centre from the St. Patrick's community hall on forster street, and 4 years from the Holy Family School on the Dublin Road, the 14th Galway Scout Group have moved to Shantalla, on the west side of the city.
